Congratulations to the 2017 NSLA student award recipients

At the end of the 2016/2017 academic year, NSLA awards were presented to graduating students from Dalhousie’s School of Information Management and the Nova Scotia Community College’s Library and Information Technology (LIT) program.

On May 30, NSLA President, Cindy Lelliott, presented the NSLA Award for School of Information Management Graduate to Katie Gallant. The award is given to the student with high academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to public libraries.

Kelli WooShue, PR & Promotions Convenor, represented the NSLA Board at the NSCC-Waterfront Campus’ Student Success Celebration Awards on June 8. At the ceremony, she presented the NSLA Award for Library and Information Technology (LIT) Student to Guy LeLievre in recognition of his contribution to the overall LIT program.

Congratulations and best wishes, Guy and Katie!
