Nova Scotia Public Libraries are facing a funding crunch

There have been a number of media reports recently about the state of funding for Nova Scotia’s nine regional public library systems. Provincial funding for public libraries has been frozen for the past six years and many regions are having to make decisions around staffing and branch hours in order to balance their finances.
