From Libraries Nova Scotia
Friday, June 22, 2012

Beginning in July, you’ll be able to return your library materials at the Halifax Seaport Famers’ Market. Library books borrowed from any of the more than 100 university, community college or public libraries anywhere in Nova Scotia can be returned to a drop box that will be located at the market.

The market drop box will arrive at the farmers’ market in July and more information, such as exactly where at the market the drop box will be located, will be available at that time.

The market drop box is a project ofLibraries Nova Scotia, a collaboration between Nova Scotia university, community college, public libraries and the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. It is an extension of the Borrow Anywhere, Return Anywhere initiative, which allows all Nova Scotians to borrow and return books from anywhere in the province. For more information about the market drop box and the Borrow Anywhere, Return Anywhere program, visit librariesns.ca
