PLDS - 2012 Invitation to Submit
Every year a large number of public libraries across Canada and the US submit their usage data to the Public Library Association’s Public Library Data Service (PLDS) survey.
In order to increase participation, the PLA (and its service provider, Counting Opinions) seek your assistance in forwarding this email invitation to all of the public libraries in your province to ensure that they are aware that there is still plenty of time to contribute their data to this year’s survey.
The PLDS is a resource that all public libraries should seriously consider participating in. It is an important planning, advocacy, management and benchmarking tool that enables libraries to track trends and benchmark against one’s peer and/or aspirant groups, as well as enables further research in the library profession.
Any library who has not received, or who has misplaced their PLDS login info, should request it be sent to them by clicking the following link and entering their info.
