Call for Nominations to the Nova Scotia Library Association's 2011-2012 Board of Directors

Dear all,

It’s that time of year again!

If you would like to make a difference in your library community in Nova Scotia (school, public, academic, or special library +…) please consider joining the Nova Scotia Library Association’s (NSLA) Board of Directors.

For more information about the Association, and the NSLA Board please visit our website, www.nsla.ns.ca – or ask one of the current members of the Board what NSLA is all about!

  • Please download the Nominations Form (in MS Word or PDF formats), that may be returned by mail, e-mail, & FAX to the Nominations Committee Convener (Trecia Schell, contact information below & on the form).
  • To be considered in the election to office, you must be a member of NSLA in ‘good standing’.
  • Deadline for expressions of interested, appreciated by 31st August 2011, with the 1st notification to be published/posted on 9th September 2011.
  • Elections will be held during the Annual General Meeting, at the NSLA/LBANS annual conference – September 23rd-25th, 2011 (in Sydney, NS).
  • Additionally, please note: the position of Vice-President is the 1st of a 3-year commitment … as the Vice-President generally becomes the President, and the President will become the Past President – all pending successful elections to office.
