FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, April 4, 2010: IBBY Canada (the Canadian national section of the International Board on Books for Young People), is pleased to announce that Vivian Howard of Dalhousie University is t he recipient of the 2009 Frances Russell Grant. The $1,000 grant will be presented to Ms. Howard on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at the New Book Bash & International Children’s Book Day Celebration, an annual event hosted by the Nova Scotia Children’s Literature Roundtable. The event will be held at the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia, on 1113 Marginal Road in Halifax.
